Do you see yourself as someone who is not just a coder and as someone who wants to build technologies for a larger purpose?
What does Technology in Illumine look like
Some of the purpose spaces for which we are building technologies include – Career Enablement tools to help students discover new career possibilities; Scalable teaching-learning platforms for empowering millions of coaches across the country; knowledge management tools for surfacing and managing tacit knowledge, Work & practice tools to help employees improve the quality of thinking, interaction, and customer practices; and more.
The power of Illumine’s tools and technologies is three-fold:
- They integrate deep knowledge models and frameworks with technology.
- They aim to unleash the potential of the user rather than automate them or make them redundant.
- They are used as part of a ecosystem of tools and models within larger interventions which aim to bring about significant enhancements in behaviours, thinking, interactions, design, etc.
These tools and platforms act as a foundation for large scale knowledge interventions that are delivered in large government institutions (such as Indian Railways, Department of Posts, Haryana State Government, Delhi Police, Common Service Centres etc.), large private organizations across industries (Steel, FMCG, Manufacturing, Financial Services, etc.) and ecosystems (such as career enablers, coaches, universities, dealer networks, etc.).
What it means to work with the Technology Team
- As part of Illumine’s technology team, you will have direct line of sight between what you do and the impact you create on the larger world. This is what energizes most of our team members to surpass themselves in each new project.
- Unlike large companies which have large in-house tech teams, our tech team is a “think tank” who are continuously finding new ways to build citizen technologies. Therefore, innovation combined with a practical focus is encouraged and valued in the team.
- The team is organized as “Alpha” and “Beta” groups. You can join the Alpha team if you are interested in rapid innovations around specific areas/ problem spaces or you can join the Beta team if you are focused on scaling-up technologies. You are encouraged to work around your strengths, rather than be a cog in a larger wheel.
- The team comprises of solution architects, software developers, technology architect, UI/UX designer. We also partner with technology firms and startups as part of our Beta team. Therefore, a desire to build all-round knowledge of the technology design, build, deployment and support process is encouraged.
Areas where you can contribute
